TEXAS TECH SEASON PREDICTIONS TONIGHT ON THE WILLIAMS AND HYATT SHOW

RED RAIDERS READY FOR METROMESS DATE WITH SMU

Tonight on The Williams and Hyatt Show will be taking folks predictions for Texas Tech’s record this season. We’ll also continue on with our College Football Week of Truth with another True/False question as we work The Show today from the offices of ReMax of Lubbock.

I won’t give my prediction for the season on the blog till after The Show, but I will say that Texas Tech needs to try scoring a few points in Dallas for a change. If you look at the point totals for the Red Raiders on their last few trips to the metromess, it ain’t the defense that’s been staying on the bus.

That said, Tech should always be 15 points better than S.M.U. anytime, anyplace. Jones Stadium, Ford Stadium, The Ford Theatre, or the Muleshoe Rodeo Arena, it doesn’t matter. There should always be a minimum of a two-plus separation between a program that wants to compete for Big 12 South Titles and S.M.U. If not, well, something’s wrong.

Don’t forget if you’re in the Hubbaplex tonight, make your way over to 50th St. for the parade tonight for the Lubbock Western Little League All-Stars. Hopefully the weather will cooperate and the rain will stay away for a few hours.

More later.
HYATT
